The game comes with many improvements and modifications to the gameplay and introduces new features. The Single-player and Multiplayer modes are available in the game and it acts as the first standalone DLC pack for the fifth title, Heroes of Might and Magic in the series. Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East focuses on Turn-based Strategy gameplay developed by Nival Interactive and published by Ubisoft. Explore the fantasy world, battle against enemies, and crush them in the turn-based combat to become the master. The main objective is to find out an ancient artifact by gathering pieces of a map and finding its location before the time ends. The battle in the game is turn-based and the game is set in the grid-based map. The main gameplay is resembled a simplified Heroes of Might and Magic game, introducing only one hero and no city medications. For those players who aren’t familiar with the history of the series, King’s Bounty served as a spin-off of the Might and Magic video games which was still in its early chapters and was based on board games.
